Hi! We, Alana Yosief and Elizabeth Grupp, are so excited to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! We have personally  watched loved ones fight the battle of lung and breast cancer and it is devastating and heartbreaking to witness. These reasons represent why as a team, Dancers against Cancer, focuses on patient support and loves working with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, an organization that represents this. The most valuable person in the whole process is the patient, which is why we believe in a nurturing approach to wellness. Patients should have access to free education while enduring life saving medical procedures. Related patient assistance may also include assistance in the form of workshops and patient care for the patient's family members. Adding to this point, leukemia and lymphoma are blood cancers; their blood cells are easier to access than solid tumors. We believe that through the research into blood cancers, other findings will be revealed about other types of cancers such as lung cancer, breast cancer, etc….
